Dear Resident a { text-decoration: none; color: #464feb; } tr th, tr td { border: 1px solid #e6e6e6; } tr th { background-color: #f5f5f5; } π Car Key Burglaries β South Shropshire1οΈβ£ What do we want the public to know? These offences often involve offenders entering homes to steal keys or using relay devices to access vehicles without the key. Both rural and town locations are being targeted, with offenders taking advantage of quieter areas, limited lighting and vehicles parked on driveways. A range of vehicles are targeted β often higher value models such as VW, Audi, BMW and Land Rover, but also more common vehicles such as Ford Fiestas for parts. Stolen vehicles are frequently used in further crime or sold on. Tackling burglary and vehicle crime remains a key priority under the West Mercia Police Local Policing Charter and supports national crime prevention campaigns focused on reducing theft and protecting communities. 2οΈβ£ How do we want the public to feel? By working together as rural and town communities, we can make it much harder for offenders to operate. 3οΈβ£ What do we want the public to do? π At home
